Obama’s people and Obama’s media and their machinations effectively cut power to the Trump term in office, stymied his programs and prevented a full and effective term with open and clear communication.

So following that logic W must have served a third term when GOP-led Congress blocked Bammy's appointment of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court. In fact no president I'm aware of, apart from FDR, was able to accomplish everything he set out to do without significant opposition from Congress at some point. Serving as a check on the Executive branch's power isn't a freak problem that sprang up in 2016; it's what the Founding Fathers designed the Legislative branch to do in the Constitution. Yes, it's annoying when it's our president, but right now Congress and the Supreme Court are the only things standing between us and a Biden dictatorship. I certainly am not going to complain that Biden doesn't have unlimited power.

If the President wants Congress to go along with his plans, it's on him to find a reasonable compromise with them.

No I actually wasn’t referring to executive branch power in the sense that you are. I am referring to generals going behind his back to speak with Russians saying g that the military around him won’t support him. That things he wanted to do were slow walked or ignored by the permanent staff and other Obama holdovers that Obama had his spies in the Trump Whitehouse and actively worked against him with Clinton calling him illegitimate.

I understand how the three parts of government are supposed to work. But that requires a certain level of moral integrity in the participants.
