I get sticker shock every time I eat out, which isn't very often these days. A burger, fries and coffee at a fast-food place will set you back $10 or more, and a meal at a restaurant with table service will cost at least $20.
Oddly, some food is actually DOWN. Walnuts at Costco are 7.49/3# down from 12.99. Chicken breasts at WinCo were recently 98 cents a pound, and $1.48 this week. Produce there fluctuates but the lower prices are about the same. 85% chocolate bars are still $1.99 at Aldi, with eggs around $1.30.
