Utility bills are UP.

Oddly, some food is actually DOWN. Walnuts at Costco are 7.49/3# down from 12.99. Chicken breasts at WinCo were recently 98 cents a pound, and $1.48 this week. Produce there fluctuates but the lower prices are about the same. 85% chocolate bars are still $1.99 at Aldi, with eggs around $1.30.

If you don’t have an Aldi or Lidls in your area, get together with friends and neighbors to petition these companies to open a store in your area. You will save money shopping for food. You’ll also see an interesting assortment of European foods.

Where do you live? Chicken breasts here go for $2/pound on sale, and that’s if you buy the big value pack. They are $3.70 a pound otherwise.
