17 year old orphans, any idea why they might be orphans in the first place

Probably the “immoral” defense of their country against the peaceful liberating Russians

Curious how many 17 year olds are in orphanages in the US?

You’re not familiar with the social system there and the orphanage system there vs here. Not just now but for at least decades

Way too much to unpack. Not that you are going to change your opinion about anything

Lets just say I have adopted internationally and seen and visited the facilities upclose ….am aware of the circumstances of many of what puts these kids in state run institutions….Zelensky’s thugs are raiding for cannon fodder…and glad that the Russians -accused of kidnapping kids from the Russian annexed regions - actually evacuated many to safety before this

“Curious how many 17 year olds are in orphanages in the US?”

There are NO seventeen year olds living in orphanages in the US because there are NO orphanages currently operating in the US. The progressives decided that foster care was the best way to let paedophiles and homos get access to the kids at the youngest ages so the orphanages were phased out as the kids were sent to foster parents. Some foster parents do a good job and raise the kids right. Too many see the kids as toys for their own perversions or simply a paycheck every month.
