But it is unclear how many total federal employees continue to telework - a statistic that Republicans have demanded to no avail. The government can't find out where the government workers work.

This provides a GOLDEN opportunity for President Trump to fire most of the employees of these federal agencies.

Do not give them any ideas.
They may hire bunch of bench warmers, just to fill the space!

Better to pay them not to work; they would only be scheming to curtail our freedoms anyway.

The government can't find out where the government workers work. Then shut it down. They'll find out real quick after that.
And, apparently we won't notice it on the roads, either.

How is CIA and NSA not the highest percentage in-office? Everything they do is classified and you can’t take it home or do remote work or meetings from home.

Back in the old, old days, one Sarbanes Oxley test was to hand out paychecks one payroll day each year - just to see if a real person showed up to get their paycheck, and could provide proof that they were the person listed on the paycheck.
Mail-in ballots, mail-in payroll.

HUD is very discriminatory in its hiring practices. Triple-digit IQs need not apply.

The government is not visiting their decision until 2025. They’re targeting federal employees for their votes.

Many of them don’t work when they’re in the office. Trust me.

In 2020/2021 I worked for the Census Bureau for a while...about 9 months. My superiors, all permanent employees, didn't even try to hide their laisse-faire attitude regarding getting things done accurately and in a timely fashion.

The USA is better off paying government workers to do nothing.
The more they “work”, the more damage they cause.

Knowing Biden as we so well do, I suspect the Feds are paying the homebound employees to outfit a room in their home for an office.
