And we now know that "the leadership" didn't even have enough leverage to keep Kevin McCarthy in the Speaker's chair.

He’d be off that committee long term and all his committees if he started blocking stuff and crossed McCarthy at the time

I actually find it amazing he’s on the Rules committee considering some of his votes
He’s probably the most conservative member in the inner workings of the House and Congress.
That should be celebrated if not admired!
