Boomers were our last warrior generation, producing 10,000,000 veterans and fighting our 4th bloodiest war behind the Civil War, WWII, and WWI.
My cousin, a boomer born in 1948, did four tours in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. Stayed in the military until his late 50's when he retired. He is a good, conservative, man.

Yep. Boomers spend so much time taking pictures and videos of themselves while sitting in vehicles and mugging in bathroom mirrors and then posting their selfies and their vehicle-seat pontificating out for the world to see. So narcissistic.

And are they not teaching about the Vietnam War in public schools these days? A lot of people who lost loved ones in that war and a lot of veterans who valiantly served and have never been the same since might be interested in your comments.
And those kids in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the ones in Syria are not warriors?

Can you explain how you came to believe that? How old are you? How old are your parents?
I’m a self-reliant boomer as are all of our friends. Out of the thousands of people I’ve known in my generation, I cannot think of a single one I would describe like that.
My niece (sister’s daughter) has used similar words. She told my sister “My generation cannot wait for your generation to die.” I cannot imagine a more hateful, mean, spiteful and selfish thing for a child to tell a parent. You and my niece sound a lot alike.
