Giants. They survived the flood, there was a second incursion, or both.
They did not survive the flood as that story indicates that everything that walked on the earth was destroyed with the exception of all that was aboard the ark. However, there were certainly Nephilim and Rephaim mentioned after the flood, so the concept of a second incursion in Satan's continued efforts to destroy the messianic bloodline makes sense. But I've never heard before that they (giants) were associated with the Philistines.
