Newsom’s malevolent, self-serving nature came through loud and clear.
As any resident of California can tell you, just about every word out of Newsom’s mouth in this debate was a lie. Under his terms of office, the quality of life in California has declined tragically. As the charts showed, crime is up, far worse than Florida. Hundreds of thousands of locals who used to love downtown for music, theater, museums, no longer go there. It’s too dangerous. San Francisco is in worse shape than LA… as everyone knows. He was far, far worse than DeSantis during the Covid nonsense. Our lockdowns, and mask and vax mandates were tyrannical. California is ranked 38th for pre-K–12 education; Florida is ranked #1. Our schools were stupidly closed for two years during Covid. We tried to recall him, but most believe he cheated to defeat the recall. No one here thinks he has done a good job. He is the Biden of California.
San Francisco’s miserable decline on his watch is common knowledge. The streets are filled with drug-users, homeless people defecating in the streets, and shoplifting and carjackings are permitted. The police can do nothing—they are not allowed. Naturally, hundreds of businesses have closed. Newsom cleaned it up for China’s President Xi, and lined the streets with Chinese flags! Four hundred American CEOs gave Xi, a dictator of whom Mao would be proud, a standing ovation! What does that tell us? Our CEOs are amoral creeps who only care about money, not people; that they admire Xi is a sad commentary on U.S. corporations. Elon Musk was there of course.
Newsom is a pathological liar. Everything he claimed about California was a lie, as was what he said about Florida in his feeble attempt to slime DeSantis.

I watched some of the debate. I think DeSantis made good, logical points. Unfortunately the suburban single female voters are more likely to be emotionally swayed and immune to logic. I think Newsome won on the emotional points, but I am not a suburban female so what do I know.
THANK YOU! I get too nervous to watch debates (kind of like horse racing) but there was so much promotion that I figured it would be the talk of the town this morning. But almost nothing... all GEORGE SANTOS. I’m glad to hear DeSantis did well!

My position is DeSantis won the debate, even though I didn’t watch it.😀

The way to neutralize Newsom is to make California ‘scary’ in the Midwest, while rapping gay & trannie culture around his neck.
Newsom was the mayor of San Francisco, which means we should have some good footage to exploit.(We Willie Horton him in a different way)
DeSantis made some great points and knew what he was talking about. The poop map was all abuzz. I had to stop watching because I could not take Newsom’s grossness. He is distgusting.

Before you know it these will be the facts:
California has more people moving to it from other states in the country.
Nobody is moving to Florida or Texas.
They have a budget surplus.
San Francisco is an award winning metropolis only due to Newsom’s leadership and programs.
Crime is down in California.
California handled Covid like a pro. Everyone in Florida died from Covid. Nobody in California died. It was perfect.
Florida burns books while California is free. And if you don’t agree with that, they are justified in jailing you for that hate speech.
California is energy independent with just solar.
California has the fairest tax system in the country that is, actually, lower than Florida.
Oh yes, CNN and MSNBC will convene panels. The panelists will all agree with the above and it will be labelled as “the Science.” Anyone not believing that California is the best will be denying the Science. Social media will censor and fact check and ban anyone disagreeing with any of those facts. The Late Night “comedians” will ridicule anyone who could possibly believe California isn’t the model state. Networks and Streaming services will launch shows set in the beastly conditions of Florida.
You disagree that California is an amazing place?!?! You are a threat to “your democracy.”
Even worse? Anyone who dares to go to California to do a documentary or interview disgruntled citizens will get themselves a good ole FBI swatting at 4 AM. Gag orders will ensue. Blue State AG’s will convene Grand Juries. Indictments to follow.
Newsom and the Dems know this. The arrogance they display when they spew nonsense is proof of it. They can say anything, literally anything and it will be so, OR ELSE!!! They are full on, full in totalitarian.

He isn’t if you go around the conservative media and study the democrats like I do.
The little democrats are cocky & have a lot of bravado right now, but the power brokers that control the party are in a dilemma.
They’re not sure that Biden can win, and unwilling to expose their younger candidates at this time.
The reason they aren’t taking the risk, is the 45th President is unconventional and will play any card deck they deal.
If they want to “play ball” at the top of Trump Tower- Trump is game.
If they want to play poker or go fish- Trump is game.
If they want to play in the sewer- Trump is game. He’ll come out of the sewer in a nice suit, while a Newsom or Whitmer type will look like they got ran over by a semi.
