They could just make cars with keys again like they used it. So yeah, it kinda is their fault.

Ford didn’t release cars in 2020 and 2021 that had no passive antitheft transponder systems.
This means those kias can be “hotwired”
So no, this won’t happen to ford.

"Next week it could be Mustangs or F-150s." My son is a lawyer in Las Vegas, and just last night he was telling me that Kias are being stolen left-and-right because they are much easier to "hotwire" (something about a USB port).
