Ukraine has taken ground near Staromaiorske after a failed Russian counterattack occurred today, which weakened Russian forces there and the Ukrainian counterattack destroyed them, making a gap for the Ukrainians to push into. The Ukrainians may being a renewed offensive towards Staromylnivka because of this. Radiation has been detected in Mariupol, possibly indicating a radiation leak elsewhere. Russia is also creating a new Unit of the VDV to move to Kherson.

Rock Rachon 30.11.23 Guests: Capt. Jukka Savolainen (ret.) On Wednesday, the Finnish government decided that the entire Finnish eastern border was closed for two weeks, i.e. until December 13. All border crossings with Russia remain closed and only in one place, in the south-east of the country, rail freight traffic is allowed. When closing the border, the Finnish government cited a “threat to the country’s security” in the face of Russia’s “hybrid operation”, which involves steering an organized inflow of illegal immigrants from the Middle East and Africa towards Finland and further to the EU. Tonight on Rock Rachon we were joined by Captain Jukka Savolainen (ret.) – the director of the COI „Vulnerabilities and Resilience” at the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats – to discuss this operation devised by the Kremlin.
