with not a thought to what the NVA, the Chinese, or Russians did FIRST in Cambodia,

why we did what we did,

or what Pol Pot did to Cambodia.

Nixon had reduced the American force by more than half by the time of the Cambodia operation....thats what you have to do when you start pulling troops out, and the other side senses victory. They were bombing the HO CHI MINH TRAIL... they never bombed Cambodian cities. Prince Nordam Sianook was a communists sympathizer and after he was booted from power, met and joined forces with Pol Pot, urging his followers to join the Khmer Rouge. Love how people forget what ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Half the people think Nixon started the damn war....
