The government of the province of Ontario has decided to include the study of Holodomor of 1932-33 in the school curriculum.
The course on the study of this Soviet crime will be included in the Canadian history program for the 10th grade starting from September 2025.

I didn't forget. Scandinavians did travel the rivers from the Baltic to the Black Sea, and the very name Rus' is said to have meant "river traveler" or "boatman". They took over Kyiv in the 9th century, and were the original power in the Rus' empire that was wiped out by the Mongols in 1237-42. But they didn't contribute much to the modern-day East Slavic gene pool. Probably because the Mongols killed almost everybody they met. Some historians I've read say that the steppe region that is now Ukraine, and the city of Kyiv, were entirely depopulated, which would have obliterated most if not all of the Scandinavian genes.
Wow- I learned something new this evening and I thought I knew everything four decades ago. Funny how that happens almost overnight.
Russia is the Soviet Union. That’s what we keep hearing on Russia 1 TV.
“Communism in “Russia” was just a new chapter of an old, old tale.””
Total bullSchiff as is the case with most of what you post.

Well if we’re going down the ethnic hatred road, instead of blaming communism, let’s talk about the Trawniki men, the 14th SS Division, and the Banderites.
Wasn’t Stalin Georgian?
6. Used to be a lot of Nazi-supporting Ustashi in Canada. They were Hitler’s genocidal killers in Croatia during WW2.
He was. So what? Hitler was Austrian. Napoleon was Corsican.
“Wasn’t Stalin Georgian?”
Yep, he was.
They wouldn’t say squat about it for 93 years, even hid it, participating in the suppression of it, until it became more useful to them to say something about it.
Scum, all.
I guess you're going to have to elaborate. As I read it, Stalin was genetically Georgian, but he hated everything about his roots in Georgia, and sought to be more Slavic than the real Slavs.
From Edvard Radzinsky's 1996 biography, part of which I luckily found online:
"The part of the town in which Beso's house stood was known as the Russian quarter, because Russian soldiers were stationed in a barracks nearby. So other children often called Soso "the Russian." This would lodge in his subconscious, with strange results. He would never feel the stirring of Georgian nationalist sentiment. Only his first revolutionary pseudonym--almost a childish nickname--had any connection with Georgia. As a professional revolutionary, he used only Russian names when living underground. He would later describe his homeland sarcastically as "that small area of Russia which calls itself Georgia."

What is with you friggin Russian trolls that you can’t stay on topic? Is it collective ADHD?
And if you don’t like the FACT of the Russian Communist Party speaking for all of Ruzzia then take it up with your beloved Putin, not me.
“And if you don’t like the FACT of the Russian Communist Party speaking for all of Ruzzia then take it up with your beloved Putin, not me.”
Get a grip on yourself and your deranged hatreds. You’ve been all over this forum posting vicious and hateful stuff, pushing for war with Russia, and just murderous stuff. Most of us don’t hate Russia, want the war to end and us to stay out of it. Anyone with a differing view you lose your cool and start insulting people and worse.
Again, the FACT is that the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation speaks for the Duma and the government.
That’s just the way it is.
Your precious feelings have exactly no bearing on that FACT.
And I am not going to be baited into your emotional trolling. So give it up.
