It really doesn’t matter. Russia is finished as we have known it. The majority of their brightest young people have fled the country and their birth rate is in terminal collapse. The ruble is virtually worthless and their oil and gas industry will have to be almost completely rebuilt if it ever comes back at all. The worst thing that could happen to them now is if they actually prevail in taking Ukraine. It will be like the proverbial dog that succeeds in catching the car. Now there in stuck with administrating a country full of people that despise them. What could possibly go wrong?
