Pretty much the only reason people pay mind to professional sports is because they’ve gambled on the game in some way.
I love to gamble but if you do too, I recommend stock options.
It’s like Qui Gon Jinn said in “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace”: whenever you gamble, eventually you’ll lose.
Bills penalties killed them
I can’t follow or fathom the gambling end of sports. I like to watch them simply on account of the unscripted display of talent. No other form of live entertainment is like live sports.
Who is Portnoy? Apparently he has a new complaint.
Don’t place “monster bets.”
“...That, and there’s always a bigger fish.”
Sooner rather than later, the odds get even.
The refs gave the Bulls 10 in the first half and Phill one. They also let Philly rough the passer, and penalized the Bills for it.
It’s an internet based sports show. The guy owns a bar and broadcasts his show from his bar.
He’s an internet blowhard, and has made a great deal of money doing so. He also does short 2-4 minute reviews of pizza places all over the country. Those are interesting, and you get to see a lot of remarkable hole in the wall places that have been around decades.
Much more money is bet on sports than is made from sports directly in terms of attendance, food, TV rights, etc.
Because of this it is very possible that the talent isn't entirely unscripted. I think this is what Portnoy is hinting at.
Never go into gambling... I occasionally get a lotto ticket, maybe once a year. The few times I played slot machines I’d get a roll of quarters (that’s how long ago it was) and it would last maybe 15 minutes and I was done.
He's fur sure about the Benjamins.
The Bills: “hey, we’re a game up on the J-E-T-S, so that’s something...”

Nope. I’ve watched pro sports since ‘79 or ‘80.
I’ve never gambled on them. I’d be surprised if >30% of voters gamble on them.
It’s not how many, but how much.
in 2021, $57 billion was gambled in America over sports.
