Is this Volodymyr Zelensky or Churchill?
Ask ought-six. He claims to know.

You’re foundering, kid. And no effort to tread water will save you. You are shark bait now.

You’re foundering It's floundering, you semi-literate pants crapper.

Uh, no. I agree with almost nothing he posts, but foundering is absolutely used properly. Just trying to help, lol.

floun·der [ˈfloundər] VERB floundering (present participle)
struggle or stagger helplessly or clumsily in water or mud: "he was floundering about in the shallow offshore waters"
SIMILAR: struggle thrash thresh flail pitch splash stagger struggle mentally; show or feel great confusion:
"she floundered, not knowing quite what to say"

“It’s floundering, you semi-literate pants crapper.”
No, son; it’s FOUNDERING: Look it up. FOUNDERING means SINKING; going under. FLOUNDERING means still afloat; hence, that is why I said no effort to tread water (i.e., stay afloat; or, in your words, flounder) would save you; you are going under.
But, basic vocabulary is beyond your ken.
