Your comment is interesting, and got me thinking. How about a list of the UMCRevMom@aol.com comments, numbered and by time stamp? Sometimes a simple list can be illustrative. And so....
1) #1 - 9:17:20 PMThis and one other thread evidence some features that most other Free Republic threads do not. "Removed by Moderator" is far more evident in these threads, than most other threads.

1) Comment #6 Removed by ModeratorAdditionally, curating a thread by the 40 comments ( about 20 percent of the total thread in number and far more than that in terms of "cut and paste" text ) as above is certainly "energetic." A three-and-a-half-hour pause in the early AM across more than an entire day's curating seems interesting as well.

3) Comment #29 Removed by Moderator
4) Comment #44 Removed by Moderator
5) Comment #94 Removed by Moderator
6) Comment #95 Removed by Moderator
Whatever the motivation, which is certainly there, it is certain that this and one other thread have attracted ardent supporters and detractors because of these anomalies. This one is special for the oft "Removed by Moderator" evidence.
And it is special for the daily promotion of some monetized videos and the "official" daily statements from the Zelensky government -- which is not synonymous with the Ukrainian people, any more than the Biden government is synonymous with the American people.
If I may quote these threads --
I love your Comment #173. Absolutely GREAT response!

Amen
The Pew organization is the gold standard for public polling on religion. They conduct polls world-wide. You can see the results of their poll on religion in Russia HERE. Data from that study shows the actual religious affiliation of Russians. It's nothing like what you posted:
Per the study details: the "Other Religions" category in this context includes Catholics and Protestants as well as Jews and Muslims.
You have, perhaps inadvertently, played up the old trope of all Russians being atheistic-Communists. It is true that the USSR was officially an atheist country. What is amazing is how quickly, and how many, Russians are now openly identifying as Christuan.
Trends in Russia are towards more people identifying as Christian. Trends in America are in the other direction, and the percent of Americans identifying as Christians presently is lower than the percent of Russians doing so.
Who has the atheistic communist leaders now? The elites in the west - like the cretins at the WEF - are almost all explicitly atheist, or green-pagans, or transhumanists. And more than a few are secret Satanists, evidence suggests.
:)
You know you got to Mumsie when she posts that laugh gif. Heh!
The schedule of clergy is varied: sometimes scheduled and sometimes ins response to an emergent need.
You have been fortunate never to have asked for a clergy member with a family sitting bedside at a death vigil. Or, have needed clergy for unexpected emergency: marital conflicts, suicidal teen, etc.
I appreciate your concern for my welfare. Thank you
With some comments, I just have to laugh.
I did greatly appreciate your comment.
Thank you.
As it was, the Japanese leadership knew that the US had an A-bomb program. Their scientists understood the physics involved and Japan hired neutral Portugal to spy on the Manhattan Project. The Portuguese did a surprisingly good job of it. As Japan's military built tunnels deep in the mountains so they could withstand conventional bombing and battle the expected American invasion to the death, the Emperor looked to the dropping of A bombs as the moment to push for peace. Even after surrender was agreed to though, a faction in the Japanese military attempted a coup in order to keep fighting.
Remarkably, even as the Japanese Bushido code endorsed a glorious death in combat, it also put those who surrendered at the mercy of the victors. And in one of those happy outcomes that are so rare in history, the American victors were not just merciful but were charmed by the Japanese as a people, with General Douglas MacArthur becoming a great peacemaker and reformer of Japanese society.
As WW II combat veteran and later literary critic Paul Fussell put it in the title of an essay and book: "Thank God For the Atom Bomb."
bttt
“If they have been short of weapons from the start why has Washington and London pushed them into the teeth of battle with a string of promises?”
You are well known on FR as being quite pro-Russia, and viscerally anti-West. And your comment suggests you would have opposed the US supplying Britain with arms and supplies in 1939, 1940, and 1941. Says a lot about you: You favor the aggressor, the bully.
I can relate to that. I’m in my 70s and I’m a bladder cancer patient. Getting up to pee in the wee hours has been my life for quite some time now.
With hairs.
Gramps! Welcome back!! How does it feel to have been wrong about Zelensky for two years?
So, you're comparing some reckless, anonymous clown spouting-off on an internet forum who scribbled, "I would rather the world end in nuclear war than yield to Little Pukin'" with Patrick Henry, who penned a thoughtful, intelligent, moving speech in support of the righteous American Revolution? Seriously? You're equating the actions of a brave, American patriot who threw down for his young nation with the deranged blathering of some anonymous idiot on an internet forum who would be OK with the world being incinerated, (which of course would mean the awful, senseless deaths of billions of men, women and children - including most likely YOU and your loved ones), as long as some corrupt Russian presiding over a creaky, craphole nation 5,000 miles from America, isn't "yielded" to?
Think about it - do you even realize how degenerate it is to try defending such an evil notion? WTF?
However, every cloud has a silver lining and what that means for you is that because of your defense of outright, irrefutable evil - your classic stupid, clunky, Youkazoidal attempt to present something evil and corrupt as being good and noble - you once again win a coveted Youcrayno the Clown™ award.
Good job! RevMommy will be so proud of you now! Come to think of it, she also won today, proving that. . .(drum roll followed by cymbal crash). . . "Great Clowns Think Alike!™"
They’re silly enough when they compare the mincing little grifter Zelensky to Churchill {guffaw!}, but likening a deranged little zeeper calling for world destruction over freakin Ukraine to Patrick Henry??
This is even crazier than some of the looney-bin babble Morning Joe spews forth. These people are nuts! And they get mad because we laugh at them? C’mon. 😂🤣
Hey UMCRevMom... Turn out the lights, the party’s over.
The fat lady has sung, and that be you.
What a strange deflection on your part. I don't give a damn what "people in ukraine" are interested in when it comes to these threads on an AMERICAN conservative forum. That's for starters.
Secondly, my comment was strictly about the fact that while RevMom expends enormous effort posting slabs of pro-Youke propaganda, she has never posted about a situation far, far closer to her - the destruction of the United Methodist Church, of which she is a minister in. Not a single comment on any of the articles posted on FR about it. Not a single post from her about it. It's like a virologist who says nothing about the Black Plague raging through his town but spends many hours traveling to other towns giving lengthy lectures on a civil war in Botswana.
I'll leave the rest of your strange comment about heteros and gays alone since it seems to me that you don't write English well so I don't really know what you're trying to say.
Now, let's get down to brass tacks: You present yourself as someone living in Ukraine at the moment. The fact is that since you comment anonymously, it is impossible to tell whether you actually are there or are just having a bit of trolling fun here. Therefore, I believe absolutely nothing you write on this forum. No disrespect intended.
If you actually are on the ground in Ukraine, I'd be fascinated to hear your perspectives outside the noise and clutter of this forum. But in order to take you seriously you'll need to prove that you are there, and there right now. So, here's what I propose: I will get in touch with you outside of Free Republic. I won't trade details with you via Freepmail or FR commenting because neither are secure or truly private - mods can see all emails and comments. But if you'd like to get in touch with me a simple "yes" or "no" via Freepmail will do the trick. Nothing more, just write "yes" or "no."
If your answer is "yes" and we do connect, everything you tell me will be held in strictest confidence unless you give me an OK to do otherwise. Here's proof of that.
