14 months after the start of mobilization Russian women start protesting demanding their men come back alive, that they be rotated regularly, etc.

Mothers and wives of the mobilized labeled foreign organization, not permitted to protest, but they keep finding ways.

Thanks for the reflection. Nonetheless, he and so many are essentially grifting, it having become a cottage industry. Mostly surrounding the Ukraine-Russia war.

As to mothers and wives losing their men, it is a horrid phenomenon wherever it occurs.

Unlike the vivid and horrific first-person video journalism we are seeing from Israel by major news agencies, the Ukraine-Russia war -- whatever one's stance -- is being told by precious few real witnesses. It is more an information war, much from afar off, of a self-proclaimed and grifting commentariat.

I worked twice in Eretz Yisrael and walked the partial walls around lovely Jerusalem. And, as it was so long ago, I even stood in the Al Aqsa when almost no one was there. The Chagall stained glass in the Hadassah synagogue remains for me a treasure of the world. Stay safe.

Imagine parts of San Francisco, Chicago, Baltimore, NYC, New Orleans are not “suffering” as well, wouldn’t recommend venturing to far from those places
