This is the horrific moment an injured teenager is tased by a cop called to a car crash – leaving him flatlining in an ambulance and then fighting for life in a coma.
Jordan Rivero was already bloodied, dazed and confused after the accident on his way home from a fishing trip in the Florida Keys with three friends in July 2022.
Police bodycam footage obtained by DailyMail.com shows the 19-year-old passenger sobbing uncontrollably near the wrecked pick-up truck as he sits down on the orders of Monroe County Sheriff's deputies.
Disoriented and not under suspicion of any crime, he stumbles upright complaining he can't breathe through his broken nose.
But then deputies haul him down before another tussle in which he's told 'get on the ******* ground' – at which point deputy Dyllon Hansen fires his taser at the teenager's stomach.
Rivero sobs as he's blasted again, despite his pleas and appears to be felled like a tree on to the roadway of US1 in Tavernier, Florida.
The panicking aspiring firefighter lets out a piercing scream as he clutches his chest. His head smashes on the hard surface, rebounds and smacks down again as his body thrashes from the voltage.
Officer Hansen's bodycam footage shows the teenager continuing to be stunned with successive bursts of electricity as he howls in agony.
Instead of assessing the teenage crash victim's medical condition, the footage reveals the cops pounce to hold him face down in a pool of his own blood, grab his arms behind him and cuff his hands and feet.
At one point he desperately forces out the words: 'I'm sorry, sir. I'm sorry, sir. Please lord, please help me.' He also begs friend and fellow crash victim John Tyler Sanders, who appears largely uninjured, for help.

I pulled over near a cop car to ask for directions once when I was near a detour closure and newly moved to a small exurb 20 miles out from Baltimore (before I had any GPS). I am a white female. My child and I were coming from church and dressed accordingly. White female cop would not listen at all—just barked at me, demanded my license and registration, took 15 minutes in 90-degree weather to run my ultra-clean record and then handed me a ticket.
I had to take half a day off from work to go before a judge and describe the incident; he dismissed the ticket without hesitation. That was 20 years ago. Guess I should be glad she didn’t tase me and rough up my kid.
Yup. Nothing quite as fulfilling as dressing up as commandos - while, for example, conducting a pre-dawn raid on a dangerous pro-life protester - without actually having to face a real heavily-armed and trained enemy force.
According to the report the kid hit the officer in the face with his fist what would you do?
This is what happens when you lower the qualifications for being a cop.
First I’d look at bodycams to see if the report was a lie, because that seems to happen an awful lot.
Seems like a awful lot of excess force to someone who was injured if he truly didn’t do anything but ask for help, my understanding there is no video of the hit to the face with a closed fist, I would say how convenient

The Taser is being properly discharged (mechanicall). Most officers release the trigger after the Taser “goes off”. (When it should remain pressed—until the second round is necessary).
That said, Monroe County has a small, but poorly distributed police force. They are responsible for 130 miles of skinny highway leading to Miami. (Miami doesn’t send their best to Monroe County on weekends).
He is going for a civil reward when there should be criminal charges filed against those officers.

There is a YouTube channel called the “ The Civil Rights Lawyer” that I had to quit watching since it made my already dislike of cops worse. Police seem to want the lawful citizens disliking them.
Years ago I had a neighbor who was a county cop near DC. He would joke and laugh about pulling over pretty women just to get their addresses and phone numbers. He was married and ran around on his wife all the time and almost always with women he would proposition on his traffic stops.
I must have watched a different video and the description/story was written with their bias against police on full display
In the video I watched, the cops did nothing wrong.
The kid was out of control/out of his mind. He was fighting/assaulting the cops who were trying to help him.
They tazed him after he fought off several officers.
It took like several officers to hold down/restrain ONE scrawny kid!
The kid was clearly OUT OF HIS MIND AND INJURED FROM THE CAR ACCIDENT! NOT as a result of being tazed or controlled by police officers.
You people should watch the “full video” The next immediately following video is someone else SIX YEARS EARLIER! (Both named Jordan but different last names.)
