White men should not sign up for police departments. They should opt out just like they’re doing with the military. They have no upside.
And towns should draw down their police forces, and quietly hire private security firms, off the books if possible, where those white guys disposed towards police work should go for employment.

About 170 million people residing in America already pay zero income taxes. And a majority of the voters like it that way. Don't worry; Fedzilla will eventually go hunting down the clever expats that got away, which means more Demonrats on the roll to collect money for Demonrats on the dole.
I agree, I think all white people should NEVER work for any municipal agency if 5% or more of the population is a non white minority. Personally for me, my inherent white privilege prevents me from having any dealings with non white minorities since Burn, Loot and Murder came on the scene.

I have to laugh at expats that speak of how their retirements and social security goes farther in other lands as they don’t consider how precarious their situations are should the USA itself fall and social security goes away.

Most cops are decent people and the thugs and goons running the country have NOT flipped them. Cops are NOT Marxists even in democrat hellhole cities.

It’s been working for Chris Wray huh it’s what you end up with rather see two cops to a car and one on ever block.

My position has nothing to do with anyone returning or staying.(to keep socialism afloat...hahaha!) My position is that anyone expat and living out of the USA had better plan on an income stream that’s not dependent on sources in the USA so that they can survive where they are.(cause the foreign host country isn’t going to supply them with retirement and pension money)
And I would be one of them.
But the post to which I replied was recommending remote work while residing in a foreign country to avoid US taxes on the first $120,000 of income. That is an extremely rare combination of circumstances which requires quite a bit of luck to encounter and flexible attitudes to adapt to the changes in lifestyle. As good as those deals can be, they don't last very long either.

These days, I can work mostly from home in a US setting. Even so, there are facilities and equipment which I cannot bring to my house. A central facility is needed for certain tests and experiments.
I have also seen many five-minute lunchroom conversations which decided multi-million-dollar product development and sales activities. There is a critical need for face-to-face personal contacts in such matters and a corporate office of some kind is a good way to inspire them. A small corporate office, with a lunchroom and conference rooms is what I see that works best.
Remote work is definitely here to stay, regardless of how it may offend the egos of corporate executives and managers. But there remains a need for some office space. Just not as much as we have now.
That happens a lot around here. I do that a lot around here.
I have met police officers who are doing everything they can to avoid patrol assignments in Black and Hispanic areas. It is a losing proposition for White men, who will usually be sacrificed when there is a use-of-force incident involving Blacks or Hispanics.
For that matter, I have seen that White men get more severely criticized for any use-of-force incident than Women or Black officers. Hispanics may occasionally get thrown under the bus if a perpetrator is Black. Otherwise, they skate. Women and Blacks are mostly ignored when there is an incident. "Two weeks paid administrative leave" is the standard resolution for the favored ones.
Police departments have a hard time recruiting these days and that is for good reasons. Police are used by the politicians as tools to enforce their orders. Law enforcement is a secondary consideration, and protected classes are increasingly exempt from law enforcement. Good officers get very frustrated with this environment.
This is not a good place for White men in particular. It is not a good place for good men of any race or ethnic background.
The problem originates with the rulers, not the police.
