In the real world one vote elections (while they do exist) are very rare.
Your better argument might be that you should not advocate that nobody vote (and be persuasive at it)—that could be a problem.....

Are you being serious? The “you” I used is known as “rhetorical” and refers to the entire group of “you(s). A few thousand of those can influence an election.
