Not an expert but enjoy history and I’m a USAF vet of the Cold War. There’s an F-16 ping list here somewhere.
That would be Army footage, not Air Force.
How did you find it to watch it?

Quentin Aanenson’s movie first began as an interview on the PBS TV station, WETA, in Wash DC sometime in the 1990s. I remember seeing it. It was later expanded into a biographical story of his life and WWII experiences as a combat pilot. It appears that this movie is that extended PBS documentary.
I found the following from the editor of the movie on IMDB.com (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1563542/?ref_=nm_flmg_t_1_slf)
“I’m the Editor/Co-Producer of “A Fighter Pilot’s Story”. I would like to thank you for the wonderful reviews. In response to brettidwell, I would love to rerelease the film on another platform and offer to sell copies again, however, the music licensing ran out years ago and am unable to do so. I also considered creating a new version in HD, but the budget required to do so would be about a half million. Since I don’t have the energy to fund raise and spend the incredible amount of time on recreating this doc, I won’t be able to fulfill the requests. Thank you to everyone that has supported this story over the years. Quentin passed in 2008 and was an incredible person, along with being my father in-law.”
Nearly all of the official military film done by the individual military services is on deposit at either the National Archives in College Park, MD - https://www.archives.gov/research/motion-pictures/ww2 ; or the Defense Information Center Movie Collection at March Air Reserve Base. However, since I last dealt with them 6+ years ago, there has been a re-organization and it is now part of the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (https://www.dvidshub.net/) Hopefully you can get a contact through them about WWII USAAF official movie films.
For example, do a search for WW2 German gun camera films.
I have a friend Michael Mikkelson who is researching WWII aircraft units for a book or possible TV series. He has thousands of memorabilia pieces from WWII bombers he has acquired . He is also on some groups of facebook. You can look him up there or let me know and i’ll get he email for you
