There are comments on another forum insisting that with few exceptions, Republicans in Congress are doing their job concerning illegal immigration.
Specifically, The Mitt Romneys, John McCains, POS Bushes. There are some. Not the majority. The Republican Party disapproves of illegal aliens. We had the lowest illegal alien rate of crossing during President Trump’s administration, the lowest in 40 years. Now we are at an all-time high again due to this Democrat administrations actions of allowing people to cross our border without merit.
I've not responded because I'd like to get your perspective. I'm of the opinion that our GOPe is in bed with the globalists and are complicit in America's fall. I'm of the opinion that Republicans could stop this debacle. At the least, we would hear of them screaming in Congress to stop the treason. Instead, we hear nothing.
What say ye?
It is a slow strategy, but I don't see any other option.
I sort of agree with you.
I AGREE that the GOPe is in bed with the globalists and are FULLY and WILLFULLY complicit in America’s fall.
However, I believe that any “real” Republicans are POWERLESS to stop this debacle. There are not enough of them.
Vote out ALL GOPe and RINOS. It would be a start. SO MANY OF THEM are Traitors, Liars, and Demon-Rat Lite, it’s near impossible to separate “good” from the “bad.” It’s all about the Banjamin’s to these GOPe/RINOS.
Say what you will regarding RINOs, but at the beginning of 2021, we were well on our way to PACKING THE COURTS and passing House Bill 1, which nationally mandated the system of Election Fraud used to take out Trump. At the beginning of 2023, not a peep on either.
The difference being that in 2021, the Democrats had full control of Congress, plus the White House, while in 2023, the Republicans got slim control of the US House...and at least that crap (court packing and election fraud legalization), which would have PERMANENTLY turned us into a Third World S-hole, wasn’t even discussed.
So, I get the ‘no difference between the parties’ that the trolls here like claim, but this is just one difference - there are plenty more like it. Also, don’t confuse a 4-vote majority in the US House with a 40-vote majority or a 100-vote majority, since a 4-vote majority still allows RINOs far more power than they deserve (which is none).
At this point we have a decent House Speaker (at least regarding the Jan 6th tapes) and the ONLY things that matter now is getting a decent president (meaning Trump), and enough votes in the House and Senate to at least neutralize the worst of the RINOs.
They haven’t done anything. They talked a lot, but just haven’t done anything.
Furthermore, they are wasting the resources needed for the general election, by continuing that the vast majority of their voters are committed to Trump as being the candidate for the Republican Party. They also need to start making court cases in support of their candidate instead of letting him languish is lawfare. There are the usual few who do these things, but the overwhelming members remain silent. they must all go & be relaced with people who are committed to fighting for the people.
The GOPe also has a spending problem just like the Democrats, because as the Uni-party consisting of Democrats & RINOs, they work towards their goals of self-enrichment putting their stolen dollars from the taxpayers into other assets that offer security from a failing fiat dollar under threat from the BRICS movement to destroy the dollar by removing it as the world's reserve currency.
The last thing I will bring up is the silence & inaction regarding the ongoing invasion of this nation mostly along our southern border, but it's growing along out northern border as well.
"It is a slow strategy, but I don't see any other option."
Democratic and Republican Trump-supporting patriots need to wise up to the unconstitutional federal taxes that they've been paying all their lives and apply the following remedy in 2024.
Patriots need to put a permanent stop to unconstitutional federal taxes by first supporting hopeful Trump 47 with all new state and federal, Trump-supporting lawmakers and executives who will support Trump in leading the states to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
“If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833).
From the congressional record:
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
“Cherish, therefore, the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and governors, shall all become wolves [emphasis added]. It seems to be the law of our general nature.” - Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Edward Carrington January 16, 1787)
Pelosi: "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it." (non-FR; 6 sec.)
Democrats [And RINOs] Are Terrified Of An Educated And Informed Public (3.12.23)
If the repeal 16&17A amendment was strictly limited to repealing those amendments, then relatively little, or ideally no discussion would be needed to ratify it imo.
Finally, consider that probably the main reason that we hear political party and media complaints about the electoral college is that the electoral college is the only thing stopping the corrupt political parties from establishing a permanent puppet presidency that will unquestioningly sign all unconstitutional taxing and spending bills into law.
Bad, but still better than a Democrat controlled congress.
Bongino has it right on DemocRats vs Republcans. Republicans may not be the answer to our problems, but DemocRats are definitely the cause of them.
The gop is pro mass migration and amnesty. There has been 7 amnesties for illegals since 1986. The writing was on the wall since Reagan, that the gop doesn't care about the middle class.
Without workplace enforcement, mass deportations, and the enforcement of the law, there is no point in a wall. If the US was really concerned about such illegals and borders, 9/11 was the opportunity to fix it. The r’s and d’s didn't care, and don't care. Several hijackers were illegals via their expired visas, nothing was fixed, nor were colleges held accountable.
