Our Coyotes are the Red Wolf/Coyote mix. They get huge. I have seen some the size of a German Shepard dog. One of our Coyote hunters said he never takes the pelt. He said that as soon as the Coyote dies, fleas jump off everywhere. I have seen some pretty ones but most don't have a nice coat. They are fat and big though. These are stock photos but this is what we have. The red wolf is strong in them.

My baby sister moved here from Colorado about four years ago to stay with Mom. She has two little dogs. She was outside walking them one evening around dusk and said a pack of big wild dogs chased them inside. I told her they were Coyotes, not wild dogs. She said they were two to three times the size of the little ones they have in Colorado.

LOL...... I guess it would be really tacky to walk around town shedding fleas everywhere you go!

We had to put down our 14 year old black and tan today. He belonged to our 15 year old son, who died nine years ago, so now I'm a mess too! Dogs really do become a part of you.
