“I must be really old, that kind of boy didn’t exist in my youth.”
I was thirteen when my English teacher started to come to my basketball games and invite me to visit her classroom after school. 1972, a mini-skirted swinging, first generation feminist.
The other guys ridiculed me mercilessly. So I never responded. My old man later said I missed out and had no one but myself to blame.
Very very different in the old days. I don’t get today’s mommy world at all. But today’s young men can’t win.
Just for laughs check out a Gal named Pearl, on YouTube, that challenges todays girls and reveals just how rigged the game is against boys. Makes one wonder who would want such girls for anything other than casual association? Girls today seem to think having multiple sex partners and a few kids makes them more desirable. Oh well, as Happy Goodman would say this place is not my home, I am just a passing through.
