Talking timeless, how about Electricity from ‘69 (I think)?

Tell me you have been drinking without telling me you have been drinking.

I’m not sure why, but that song works for me. And I’m not sure if that was just someone playing the organ, or Morse code in the middle. When I was in the Marines you still had to learn Morse code, but I’m pretty sure. I can’t quite put my finger on why I like that. It’s like intelligent techno or something.

Also, when the song came on, I was on the emptiest Road in New Mexico you can imagine. The theme of radioactivity fit perfectly. Kind of spooky almost.

By your own standards and mine, you get at the subconscious level.

To partially paraphrase Kraftwerk’s founder, the phrase that’s burned into my own brain opens with, “Be kind to your machines”. Those five words summarize Kraftwerk’s intent before they entered the recording studio.

IMHO early Kraftwerk was better when they still incorporate the flute.

BTW I only realized after the fact that Kraftwerk’s founder was deceased.

The only thing I can add to this thread is the fact that Kraftwerk’s founder (Julian something IIRC) was outlived by Kraftwerk’s production facility (loosely translated as “Kling Klang Works”)
