Last week there was a post on Facebook made by the son of a man found dead in his home. The son was going through his dad's home to begin the process of clearing the property of personal effects. On his dad's desk was a calendar with a couple "to do" items. The items were: flu jab, covid jab.

I was basically bullied into getting the first Covid vaccine because of work requirements. I haven't got a flu shot since the Marine Corps made me in 1996 and I ended up flat on my back six hours later.

No more. I'm done putting these unnecessary witches brews in my body. I'll still get vaccines for stuff like shingles that'll do real damage but I'm done with shots for stuff that's just going to put me in bed for a couple of days. I've had Covid twice (once before the vaccine and once after), the risks from Covid and flu shots outweighs the risks from the disease for most healthy people.
