Did he mean that if they churn out too many movies, quality suffers?

It was because they wanted to use prior movies to get people interested in future moviesand tie storylines together, in a way to keep people coming - either because they liked the character(s) and or becauseit was part of a larger, over-arcing storyline across movies...

They have had these things on future boards that had movies 10+ years in advance.

But then they started going woke and panderverse-yand people are sick of it, especially Mary Sue characters

The only part of this woke mess I have any feelings for is the the total destruction of Star Wars. I was 18 and less than a year in the Air Force when the original Start Wars came out (It didn’t have that “episode IV crap attached to it) and it was a great getaway from the pressure of my duties. I enjoyed the next two just because it was nice to forget the pressures and get into a world of Vaders and Skywalkers.

All the other movie story lines could disappear for all I care. I never read comic books and always thought it amazing that grownups would watch movies about comic books. Yes, I know they may have correlation to the Science Fiction I read as a child but comics totally disinterest me.

I still think it is horrendous that these corporations think they should have the moral authority to not only destroy recognized brands but to think normal people should have to suffer their propaganda.

Disney is not guided by bottom line profit but by a desire to promote the "woke" agenda. The oligarchs and leftist brokerage houses are more interested in propaganda than in a return on their investments.

However, if the movies Disney produced are not watched by any other than leftist moviegoers, the investors do not get their money's worth for persuading the public. In the political sphere, notice that one by one, the Republican Presidential nomination contenders are dropping out, the most recent being Tim Scott. The GOP-e donor class is seeing that further investment is not succeeding in getting a suitable contender to Trump. It is probable that the oligarchs and brokerage firms will invest no further in Disney or any other media that fails to move the needle in favor of Agenda 2030.

Disney has lost over $200 billion in value in a year and a half with no end in sight yet the ceo and the board of directors keep their jobs.

Facebook ceo zuckerberg has lost over $50 billion on his metaverse and he still keeps his job.
