Did you ever see the TV series “The Orville” ?
It’s a Star Trek clone starring Seth MacFarlane and Adrianne Palicki, It ran for 3 seasons on FOX.
In one of the episodes they encounter a planet where the population all have to wear these lighted badges. When you interact with others, they can give you a GREEN or RED vote. Your badge glows green. Unless you do something others don’t like and they give you red votes. If you get enough your badge glows red. They then put you to death.
It’s like the Facebook LIKE and DISLIKE, or THUMBS UP - THUMBS DOWN on other websites. Social Credit score.
The show aired at least 5 years ago. Oddly prophetic.

Great to see you Laz. GREAT post. “lost productivity” and others items stated very well in your post. I didn’t/don’t mind being micro managed by some idiot supervisor because it slowed down my productivity (and still does). It’s like having a break throughout my workday. Very informative post BUMP!

Very thought provoking. My friend’s girlfriend in Hong Kong is perfectly fine with being monitored by the communist chinese government saying the people “have to be monitored” so everyone will do “what’s right,” never stopping to question who or what decides what is right.
