The much berated ABBA, and yes even I berated them back in the day, but 300 years from now, I think their songs will be playing in a jukebox in a somewhere dive bar.

I like “Take a Chance on Me”. I got a new girl friend while on the rebound listening to this song. Catchy tune. I have a Rediscovering ABBA playlist on my phone. ABBA songs are classics.

I usually enjoy these trips down memory lane. utube has decided that I ain’t welcome with my adblocker even when I gave in and shut it off to view a how to vid, they still won’t let me view their site. I filed a ‘report’ 10 or so days ago and they have yet to respond. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a reasonable work around. FWIW, I also have an active account with them and that matters not.

I always liked ABBA. Once on the radio the deejay was sneering at them. I assumed he was gay.

The girls were so elegant, beautiful, and talented, as opposed to the skanks we have today.

Me, too. Their music always makes me feel good.

One of my favorites is “Thank You For The Music”. Mom was a music teacher, and when she turned 90 my sister put together a slide show. We used that as one of the songs.
