Over the weekend, as a sign perhaps of just how badly things are going for Kiev, President Zelensky played a card nobody was expecting — he invited President Trump to Ukraine.
And as a sign perhaps of just how badly things are going for DC, President Trump responded with a card nobody was expecting — he publicly deferred to the Biden Administration.
Tenpercentskyy is now so toxic a presence in US politics that Trump did very well indeed to keep this particular millstone tied firmly around Biden’s neck. In many ways, Biden and Zelensky are — ironically — the cause of the other’s defeat.
