I've always wondered if there was a backup/reserve great library of Alexandria depository. WOuld love to see more Tacitus/Thudicycles/Ovid/Herotodus works find. Heck Cicero wrote VOLUMES.....

and a "no bullshit" account of Caesar in Gaul would be nice. Thanks!

Our best chance at those would be the libraries they uncovered at Pompeii.

They are finally making progress on the "read without unrolling" project.

While I would love to read Claudius' work I also want to read some of the fiction by authors we may not even know about.

The fiction of a society tells you a lot about them.
