This whole time change thing is and has been ridiculous from the start. Do the farmers rely on the clock or sun to get work done? Or neither for that fact-when the work is done, it’s done and the day is done. Why would clock time affect the farmers working hours? (I assume that is what you are referring to).

Clock time and farm time can be in conflict when the farmer or spouse has to deal with the rest of the world that runs on clock time.

For example the cows get milked at the same time every day for best production. Cows can not read clocks but they do know when that time arrives.
