I don’t like globalism or Putin and I wish there was a way this war could end with both of them destroyed. I don’t see an obvious route to that outcome, but it does match Biblical prophetic imagery, if you consider Ukraine and its globalist backers to be the whore of Babylon and Putin to be the Beast.
I do not pray for an all-out Russian victory, they should go home and allow Ukraine to live in peace. But at the same time there needs to be a full investigation (by some anti-globalist government which we could pray to get elected soon) into all the sordid business evidently associated with Biden, Clinton, Soros and their associates, and figures like our own Zelensky, JT. There appears to be great corruption and we need justice for that. We are of course nowhere near seeing justice, if anything, it recedes further into the distance every year.
But I pray also that Putin will get his just desserts too. It’s a big wish list but we have a great and awesome God. Somewhere. The call has gone out. Destroy both whore and beast, and get rid of false prophet too. We are told this will happen. I pray it happens soon before they start a world war.
One has heard that conjecture about Putin before... one's own thought is that pending further information, Putin is a neo-Soviet dictator who has no compunction to killing or imprisoning his political adversaries, etc. Could say more but one won't - Putin isn't the subject of one's comment/question.
However, one has always been intrigued by the scriptural reference to modern Babylon but has never construed it to refer to Ukraine...
To be brief, one is skeptical of the interpretation of Revelation referring to modern Iraq as Babylon. One has noted the scriptural description of Babylon as an active modern State that has corruptly influenced the entire world, and will at some time be destroyed in the span of one hour.
Hmmm... So how does one reconsider the seemingly obvious reference to a particular wealthy, maritime nation as modern Babylon, and hold Ukraine up to scrutiny and consideration?
This is something new; please elucidate.
