Within the past year, as post-surgery therapy helped her realize that the childhood trauma, not physical features, had caused her mental distress, she stopped taking testosterone and began to “detransition,” the suit says. Now, as a Jewish woman, she “mourns that she will never be able to naturally conceive a large family, as expected in her culture.” It's called *consequences*.
Even had she gone to a doctor for confirmation of her own self-diagnosis, he wouldn't dare have not agreed to it at risk of a lawsuit.
FWIW, I notice that her two surgeries were two years apart. She had plenty of time to reconsider her actions before doing something unfixable.

If your gender isnt determined by the body parts you have, how does cutting them off help?

She was 19... it’s on her for being an idiot.
I was already married a year at 19, wife and I both had jobs and responsibilities. 50 years later we still have responsibilities along with kids, grandkids and enjoying retirement.
Decisions have consequences.

Ma’am, I feel very sorry for your situation. But I’m pretty sure you were legally an adult and actually did *ask* for it.
