It's called *consequences*.
Even had she gone to a doctor for confirmation of her own self-diagnosis, he wouldn't dare have not agreed to it at risk of a lawsuit.
FWIW, I notice that her two surgeries were two years apart. She had plenty of time to reconsider her actions before doing something unfixable.
Indeed. It just goes to show how far we have fallen.
Nothing slows these greedy docs like a wealth and reputation destroying lawsuit. When it is proven in court that they were pompous idiots.
Exactly. How is anyone else to know the nature of her views and beliefs if she herself doesn’t, but is the kind of person who’d scream at them they aren’t accepting her for who she is? How can they tell her she’s wrong?
The system was completely supportive and affirming and non judgmental, and believed her. The system was able to do everything she requested to make her feel like the person she SAID she was.
How are they supposed to know that really wasn’t her, when she herself didn’t know it then? How are they supposed to know her better than she knows herself? How are you supposed to distinguish when a sincere person is or isn’t correct about themselves, either one has the same feelings and beliefs and both will fight to get done what they want done. She would have sued them right then and there for discrimination.
She must be an Orthodox Jew, if her culture expects her to have a large family.
