I wonder if they have considered using it to knock dust off rover solar arrays?
awesome possum.
Reminds me of the mythology of Frigg, the Norse gal from whom the day-name Friday derived.
That's because Orion's Belt was her spinning wheel, and...
there was that scene in MIB when J was told in no uncertain terms that there's no galaxy on Orion's Belt... "It's just these three stars"
I had wondered if that was supposed to be some kind of nerd inside joke, because Frigg was busy spinning the entire galaxy universe from Orion's Belt:
In Scandinavia, the constellation called "Orion's Belt" in English is known as "Frigg's Distaff" (Friggerock). Some have pointed out that the constellation is on the celestial equator and have suggested that the stars rotating in the night sky may have been associated with Frigg's spinning wheel. 3 She is said to have woven or spun the clouds.
"Pagan fandom"... haha, it's like Google and its street view, or the hot sheets -- best investigative reporting on the planet.
The usual suspects -- they get lucky sometimes.
Memory-trigger day.
As an adjective, the term distaff is used to describe the female side of a family. The corresponding term for the male side of a family is the "spear" side.
Just those three stars:
