I wonder if they have considered using it to knock dust off rover solar arrays?
“”knock dust off rover solar arrays?””
Great idea for future rovers, robots, etc. The two current, active rovers are SUV size, and nuke powered. One of the previous solar powered rovers, Opportunity, would park at an angle on a hill waiting for the wind to clean up the array. Opportunity was supposed to last about 90 days. It lasted.....13 years!
The helicopter was supposed to be a short term, proof-of-concept test. Well.......I believe they have proved it works.
Also, one of the current rovers has another proof-of-concept experiment on board. It is called MOXIE, and it has proven we can make LOTS OF oxygen from the Mars atmosphere. Instead of having to transport all the oxygen, we can make it! Besides keeping humans alive, it can be used to create fuel for rockets.
I wish the Hussein/Biden Regime would stop hindering SpaceX and Starship.
