Another movie not on the list that should be: La Cage Aux Folle (the original French version). Liked it a whole lot better than "Clue".

La Cage Aux Folle was funny in its time. I find the homo and cross dressing entertainment sad now. We knew not what fries we were unleashing.

Generally as someone who finds slapstick dull and unfunny and that unfortunately seems to be the comedy genre that ages best;there is very little comedy that ages well imho.

Certain stand up works. Jeff Allen on Drybar for example.
