All I know is a lot of lawyers are going to get rich from all this.

It probably falls under the category of cyber bullying in modern thought. One guy just did this for fun, shared it with his friends, and then eventually the photos got to someone who reported it. It sounds like possible school suspensions for some boys, but other legal action is possible. It really depends upon what the school district, the girls and their parents do about it. They may just want it to go away, but in the modern age, probably not.
