There is a FReeper who lives in Israel. Maybe he will see this and chime in with the real skinny on the laws there re private possession of weapons and ammo. If it is true, that weapons and any amount of ammo is forbidden, it doesn’t make any sense at all considering the history of what Jews had to do to survive in the Warsaw ghetto and other areas in the 1940’s....I would think it would be like Switzerland (as reported) and would require the ownership of such in all households!!!!!
What I have read was that if they were approved to own a weapon it had to be stored at an authorized site. Like a gun range. Then you could go check out your weapon to practice then turn it back in. You could buy more ammo only if you traded in the casings. Pretty sad.
Strict gun control = criminal government.
