Stephen Camley, 44, has been on a hospital waiting list for a vasectomy since 2019.
Fed up waiting, he contacted his local health trust, who told him the system was at a "standstill" and referred him to the community GP service.
But several weeks ago, he was told that GPs are stopping carrying out vasectomies amid funding cuts - and one of his options was to go private.
GPs are trained to perform vasectomies, to help tackle hospital waiting lists.
They are angry they cannot provide this service, according to the chair of the Northern Ireland GP Committee, Dr Alan Stout.

Semi-mojo?
It’s why the Musloids are winning
I remember reading an article abut it in the year 2000 about it. The environmentalist got a free vasectomy, and his girlfriend dumped him.
I would never get one, but if I did, I don't think I'd want a free one.
Does anyone know if Dr. Bryan Kopp is still on FR?
You do know that you can't reverse them most of the time?
mangled vasectomy ping?
“Should be mandatory for every “immigrant””
Including your ancestors?
“You do know Planned Parenthood will give men (and these days women??) a free vasectomy?”
So will most wives under the right circumstances. His issue isn’t the vasectomy, it’s his relationships.
Most were colonists and pioneers. Only a few of them were immigrants. And as for that handful....too late!
Crazy. For less than $50 you can pick up all the supplies for a DIY home job at the Ace Hardware.
I though it about was a monte python skit but the AG comes close.

“I was not aware that ANY I insurance would cover a vasectomy isn’t that an elective surgery?”
my insurance covered this decades ago ...
btw, tons of elective surgeries are covered ... essentially, every surgery that’s not an emergency surgery is elective ...
Four years for a 10 minute snip? Good grief....
= = =
We covered that in Ag class in High School.
Multiple methods, in fact.
The class visited some students, to perform services on their project animal.
Covered mine after paying for 2 child births. Interesting side note was the doctor wanted a signed consent from my now ex-wife. I said no that she had no rights under current laws over my reproductive systems. They caved. Another side note is the vas apparently goes all the way to the ears. It hurt like hell. I don’t care what others say, reach in that incision, my entire body moved from the ears down.
I had mine in 2021. Insurance paid a measly portion, I paid the rest at around $600.
My wife can basically have monthly lifetime hormonal birth control for free. Males going sterile, it costs...
That is truly bizarre.
God’s telling you something.....be a man, raise sons and daughters, stop worshipping your penis and a marriage will work beautifully.
That gif! 😂😆🥴😱
it saves them money in the long run...
