I love cooked cabbage. I can take Sauerkraut as long as it is not to sour. Do you rinse it some before putting in the pan?

Some sauerkraut is just packed in salt, some use vinegar. I taste it first - if it’s vinegary I rinse it well. This jar was quite mild, so perfect. I don’t like the pucker stuff either.
