No doubt about it. Knee replacement is far worse than hip replacement. I've had both my hips done and I was back to normal much faster.

My uncle at 83 needed both knees to be replace. They were going to do one at a time. He said “Do them both at the same time! I have places to go!” So they did. He lived to be 92.

That’s what a friend who had both told me. I somehow thought the hip would be worse, being bigger and moving in more directions.
