Happy Thanksgiving to you, Publius.

Are you putting a nice turkey dinner together today?

I have a question. I have never used capers before.....do I chop them up? Are they spicy? Hot?

Capers are salty, and they are packed in brine and vinegar. To use them, empty them from the bottle and wash them with water. You don't need to chop them up. They're fine as is after a washing.

Insofar as there are only two of us, we're having Cornish game hens instead of turkey.
