Browning knew you’d screw with it so they gave you a little extra trigger pull. There was nothing heavy about the pull on the real one I carried back in the day.

But assuming yours is still 30-06 you have enough recoil to make a rubber band loaded finger cycle it on recoil even at 9#’s.

The earlier question about bump stock bans is pretty simple. The ban will be overturned since it has no basis in existing law. Both the 1934 NFA and the 1968 GCA use “single pull of the trigger” in their definitions of controlled firearms. Even with a bump stock and a nervous twitch a semi auto doesn’t fire without a motion of the finger. Even add-on, remote, devices like solenoids and cam motors still require the trigger pull. Motorized firing, overdone, could be problematic but that’s not what the lawsuit is about.

Promise you won’t screw up a nice Browning? Put the file down and step away from the work bench-—so I don’t have to call your minder.
