The question is what to do about it?
I have an answer but it probably won't fly here.
I'm searching for answers that will work here. Who has the answer?
First question should be: Who are they? (Age group, income level, education, gender, etc.) First identify then give them an issue they will HAVE to vote on because it affects them personally. Then there are those will NEVER wake up and find themselves in their own created hell even when times are good. Like the group of dwarves (if I remember correctly) in The Last Battle (Narnia).
A certain percentage are lost forever.
My thoughts?
We need to stop treating elections like a Saturday afternoon college football game.
Stop making it a win/lose proposition.

Abortion has real detrimental physical, mental, and emotional consequences. It can set you up for cancer, clinical depression, and unending regret. Once the stats are honestly revealed, women will be appalled and the abortion rights movement will lose many of them.
Get the Truth out.
Scott Adams proposed this morning that women could be offered a significant amount, say $100K, to have the baby and put it up for adoption. The program would include comprehensive health care for mother and baby until the child is adopted. Perhaps six months after birth.
He also floated that the bonus might be paid by wealthy couples looking to adopt. This would ensure that the child would be raised by afffluent parents rather than being killed in the womb. It would also mitigate, if not solve, the problem of decreasing birth rate among Americans.
Prayer and fasting.
