Thankfully the doc I go to is a naturopath and she will prescribe Rx if needed, but will also recommend natural methods. She knows I’m an herbalist so expects that I won’t take pharmaceuticals unless absolutely necessary. She’s learned stuff from me! :-D
Before the AMA, doctors routinely used herbs, whatever pharmaceuticals there were at that time (not that many), and other natural harmless methods (fomentations, etc). The AMA is jealous, and hates any competition, and is a whore for the Pharma industry.
