Trump is way ahead in the race for the 2024 GOP nomination. In most polls he’s ahead by 25 points or more. He cannot be caught…
…unless something really bad happens to him. Like maybe the Supreme Court says that the 14A really does apply (even though it doesn’t). Or maybe some liberal judge throws Trump in jail, and a guard is bought off. Etc.
That’s why I think DeSantis still has major supporters. They are hoping that something really bad happens to Trump. Then the race becomes wide open.

It is for those with Ron DeSantis syndrome or RDS
One is SOP for older television personalities while the other is insecurity trying to look macho and failing horribly.
Perhaps DS had gotten away with it but he failed pretty hard lying about his height in public.
If he lies about something this trivial what else would he lie about?
Obviously a much bigger scandal than the Biden crime family collecting $50 million or more in bribes.
There may be something in the Florida constitution that says governors must appear as tall as possible when in public. Remember Jeb standing on his tip-toes in a group to appear taller?
