The videos were good but I would have like more info in the set up. Of course confusion is the reality of combat. Those in a battle see it “through a toilet paper roll” and often do not have a good view of the big picture.
George Mabry II, had a remarkable infantry officer career in WWII and was a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor. After the war he taught at the Infantry School at Fort Benning. The veteran officers in his classes would often argue about the military situations in various towns in France, Italy, etc. having been in the same fight but seeing it very differently.
It has been reported that high level Hamas officials met with high level RUssian officials in Moscow about 2 weeks before the sneak attack. Also there were meetings with Iran officials. Lots of coordinating I am sure. My big question is what kind of funny business might have been behind the move to leave us without a Speaker of the House just as that crisis was being created. Who knows what kind of payoffs might have been made?
What also takes time, is beefing up everyone's air defenses. Hamas is a Iranian proxy, Iran produces Shaheed drones. Jordan just asked US to deploy Patriot to their country.

TBH Ukraine is not so much a concern to me as is stopping Russia from empire building and discouraging them from any further invasions...especially any invasions of NATO members.

Even though the soldier from the first post has realized that Russia is the aggressor in this war, he still uses the word “unfortunately” regarding the fact that the Russian Army wasn’t prepared enough. So it would be OK for him if it all was done with more preparations? Anyway, it’s good that more and more of them start to see this as it is - as the war of conquest based on unlimited ambitions of the self-proclaimed tsar.

The Wagner PMC has resumed recruiting mercenaries in the Ural region of Russia. Pavel Prigozhin, the son of Yevgeny Prigozhin, is now in charge of the Wagner people.
This is reported by the regional news portal 59.ru, Censor.NET reports.
It is noted that a representative of the Perm PMC Wagner confirmed to the media that the information about the recruitment is reliable.
He also noted that the Wagner PMC unit within the Russian Guard is currently headed by Pavel, the son of the deceased Yevgeny Prigozhin.
The PMC representative added that the Wagner unit “has everything the same as before, the only difference is that we do not recruit people from prison.”
